Hot glued eggs, what day should I peel it off?

All flock is perfect for chicks. If not already in crumbles you will need to break it up.

My broodies and chicks are within a fence inside the run and usually are out and about mingling with the flock before a week old. The sooner the better.
Ok thank you!

I'm only going to have them in the tub for a week or so then I will make them a pen within the flock pen with them going into a sectioned off place in the barn at night. On the bag for all flock it says it's only for chicks 6 weeks or up, is it ok to give it earlyer is that because of the ingredients or because its pellet feed? I could grind it up into crumbles if I needed to. Thanks for all the advice I'm new to this and it really helps.

Edit: Should I just go strait to the pen inside a pen or is it fine to have them in the tub for the first week?

I would go straight to the pen. Make sure the chicks can't get through the pen fencing. I am guessing the flock feed says 6 weeks or older because it is in pellet form, you could also soak it in a bit of water to soften it up for them (but wet feed will turn sour if left outdoors in hot weather for several hours).

I also give the hen/chicks scrambled egg the morning after the hatch. Course if you do that make sure the other birds can't fly into the pen as the food will tempt them. Broody raised chicks are often quite wild so if you want tamer chicks bring them treats and try to sit with them at dusk each night especially when they are tiny (right before bedtime is usually when they are most open to being handled especially when they are 2+ weeks old). Feed them a dish of egg with your hand nearby, then start putting some in your hand to encourage them to come closer. Plus the hen will be more tolerant of your presence if you come bearing good food.

Ok thank you I will move them in the pen in the pen right away then. Thanks for all the advice. After they all hatch do I provide a nest with sides like a shoe box or just make the bedding thick so she can nest anywhere?

They are hatching! It was supposed to happen tomorrow but I guess not! 1 of the cracked eggs has pipped and I think the other on is starting to I saw I new crack I thought. It was on the edge of the glue but when I tried to peel the glue off the shell started to come off a little so I stopped. I will keep an eye on that egg to make shure the glue doesn't prevent it from pipping.
