Hot, have a question.

It's been hot here as of late and the coop is between 90-100 degrees max. I have 2 week old keets in there with fans blowing out of the window. Can I turn a fan into the coop area and direct it towards the floor? If they needed to, they could get into the fan breeze or is that a no no. It only reaches that 100 mark for about an hour then cools back off. I have done some other things to try and help but I won't know until later if it works. It's maintaining 90 right now and 101 outside.

i have a fan on - blowing in. I have 3 week old chicks, they can get out of the air if they want to...

I have 2 fans going near the roost area and the guineas rarely get in front of them.

The heat is not as bothersome to guineas as to chickens and ducks, remember where they are from.

My guineas are out in the middle of the day in the fields

while the chickens and other fowl are resting in the shade or foraging in the woods.
