Hot in Sacramento

We usually let the girls forage around the compost area. Right now it is way too hot even at the bottom of a chicken a hole. I set up a Mister system. They're likeing it.

Yes, it's horrible, isn't it? I am in the bay area, not quite as hot, but my flock is pretty miserable and hanging close to the mister. Wish the darn thing didn't leak where it joins the hose...

Mine leaked too. Try flipping the hose washer over.
