The posts in here are cracking me up!
It is safe for ducks, but beware that it may not work for dogs or goats. It all depends on the critter itself. We had a female dog that had a HUGE issue with coprophagia...disgusting habit. We tried everything and every food additive known to mankind, I think. We also intentionally left piles laying around and doused (and I do mean COVERED) them with mustard, hot pepper seeds, whole jalapeno's, hot sauce and even meat tenderizer (hey! when you have a dog that likes to lick faces, you will try ANYTHING!). Nothing mattered. She didn't care in the least. So, while those tricks may have worked for some, they don't work for all animals. You are better off figuring out a way to just keep the goats out of it, I think. Good luck! We have given up trying to keep the cat and dog out of it in the winter (when we give them food outside the pen because...ummmm...it's hard to forage in a foot of snow
) and just figure it's an additional part of the food bill. LOL
