You take your calmest bird and hold her in there until she sighs with relief,
most the other will then follow her example.
At least that how it worked here.
I just use a huge all day ice cube.

Not all of them will go in yet but more try it out everyday . The coop is pretty hot and today my Olive Egger,Olive Oil, popped out of the coop after being in a lying box and made a bee line for the foot bath, I have three in thier yard.
