Hot Weather Aprons

I could use some advice on my chirpies… Is it too hot to use chicken aprons in the summer. I have a nice rooster that is real rough on my girls. How hot is too hot to use aprons?

Let your chickens be your guide. Are they panting excessively? Personally I might pen the rooster separately and give the hens a break if it's too much.
