I've noticed that when our temperatures are high during summer hatches as opposed to spring hatches my broody hens seem to have less successful hatches and we end up with more shrink wrapped chicks 😥 Any one else?

It may have something to do with humidity, or the temperature could be getting too high. Not sure, that’s an interesting observation.
Our temperatures have been going nuts for the last 3 weeks...of course the hen sat constantly but still it affects the eggs I imagine. We had 90 degree days this week but 2 weeks ago had nights down in the mid 40s and highs only in low 60s. I'm sure its gotten too warm in there a few afternoons because the broodies were hovering over the eggs instead of sitting directly on them.
