Crowing
I'm moving to New York and bringing my flock with me, since we're headed into winter they'll be set up in a temporary coop inside a metal barn until I can figure out permanent digs in the spring. The temp coop will be predator-proof to things like foxes & fishers, but I'm worried about black bears. My husband thinks we can just hot wire the temp coop, I'd like to hot wire the whole outside of the barn. I grew up with black bears tearing into sheds to get at garbage, so I don't want to underestimate them when it comes to my birds. The barn is not open-air and can be totally closed. Thanks in advance
