Houdan personalities

Hello!
I have one Houdan, I'm thinking might be a roo, but it's crazy until I catch it, then it's totally sweet, charming, and loves to be petted?

Anyone have any thoughts/ experiences with Houdans?

I'm hoping if it is a roo it will let me catch and pet it on occasion, but I think I'm probably just dreaming......
