House baby chick

Hi we had a broody hen, got her some fertilised eggs, 3 hatched then 2 died, then mum, so now we have the only one left - she/he is living in our house, it is around 8 weeks old & follows us around as though we are her mum! Obviously at some point it will need to go out with our other 9 hens but we are also coming to winter! Any suggestions or advice? Thanks Sam

I have bantams that come in the house at times so having a house chicken doesn't sound odd to me.

At two months the chick is old enough to be outside and will be better prepared for winter if it were outside now as to acclimate itself to the changing weather.

But why did the mom and other chicks die? That may be a more serious concern.
