House ducks- tips and tricks

I though so. I have two mild mallards that visit every spring named Donald and Daisy

Oh my goodness that's amazing! It amazes me how they remember their way home.
I bet it's so lovely to see them every year !

Isn't it? They've gotten quite used to us and will eat right out of my hand and sleep under our trampoline! Here's some pictures:

They are a beautiful pair! It must be so special to have them come back year after year.
Were they pets to start off with or did they just arrive one year?

They just showed up in our front yard last year. Our backyard and pool was being remodeled at the time so they didn't go back there much but now they fly back there, sometimes early in the morning, but mostly around 5. I think they came from a large pond in the golf-course, which is behind our neighbors houses across the street. There is also a retention pond adjacent to our house which they sometimes hang out in. Last year we also had a koi pond put into our yard so that attracts them as well. We now have a kiddie pool for them behind the trampoline which is where they often hang out. They've just mated yesterday so i'm expecting some little ducklings nearby soon

Eeeek bet you're excited! If you get ducklings you'll have the post some pictures for sure
It's so lovely that they hang out with you, it sounds like they have the perfect set up, it must be like going on holiday for them when they come every year!
