We have 2 baby pekin ducks. We are needing to build them their adult house however I'm not sure on dimensions. They will free range daily and only be locked into house at night for their safety. I know it's says at least 3sq ft per duck but I can't find anything on how tall the house should be and what dimensions the door should be. TIA

Ducks can well, duck, so the door doesn't have to be super high.
We have a bird door in the gate into the bird pen. I think it is about 7" wide by maybe 12 or 14" high. I have runners and a welsh harlequin (and a chicken). All make it through no problem.

Our duck house is 6x3 and I think is 2' tall. It is plenty big/tall for my 4 girls and would be fine for pekins as well.

Ok. Thank you! This is our first time with ducks and they are babies right now so I wasn't sure on height. I have heard 3' and our original plans were for 2' high. But if 2' is high enough we may go with that as they will free range all day and only sleep in the house.
