i was tolled today you can put talc on chickens to help with lice and scratching dis anyone hered of this before

I haven't heard of this one, and I don't believe it will try it. I can't imagine why it would do any good, and talc is qquite irritating to the lungs if inhaled.

If you want to try a natural preventive, I would suggest you find some wood ash and add it to where they dust bathe, or to their litter, if they scratch about in it.
