May I ask, you said you put them outside at 3 weeks. Does that mean you kept them outside 24/7? I'm sorry to ask. LIke you kept them penned outside round the clock?

Yes, they stayed out in their tractor.
Tractor was moved every day, twice.
They had a nice sturdy shelter at one end.
The tractor is XL size. My hubby says go big or go home.
It was inside of our one acre fenced shaded pasture/half woods.
We placed them in that fenced area for extra safety against predators.
That one acre is solely for our birds
