I just obtained a brand new Brinsea Mini Advance Hatching Egg Incubator and am super excited but now I'm really worried that my house temperature will not allow for a successful hatch.

I am in a really small house with nothing but a window AC that I manually turn on and off. The temperature fluctuates a lot in here.
I even thought about putting the entire incubator inside of a larger box to act as extra insulation in hopes that it would keep the temp more even.

So, can I still hatch eggs?

You can.
If you go the box route, a larger surround would be better because you don't want air flow to be diminished.
Put it in the warmest corner of the house. Then temps won't fluctuate as much and the incubator will use less electricity.
Just don't put it somewhere over 100F.

think a cardboard box or like a plastic one you buy with the lids?

You don't want to restrict oxygen from getting to the eggs is what I'm trying to say.

Thanks. I got it in the corner inside of a 10 gallon aquarium. It gets plenty of air through the top and I get to feel safer about the dog knocking it off. I set it to 99.5 and it usually reads 99.6 instead and every once in a while it hits 99.5 I still have 20 days to go but am too excited for it to be this early :( lol
