Housing Bob Whites

I don't have any pictures, but with my experience you need a really big run with lots of vegatation or raise them on wire. Otherwise they will get a disease called Ulceritive Enteritis, which is very deadly.

Nice set-up Sam. I too am interested in the above questions. Also, is that sufficient for PA winters? I'm in Central Wisconsin so very cold winters. Can quail be kept in that over winter?
 
The quail can be over-wintered in that.....just have to keep the draft from coming up through the bottom via tarps/boards.....and also keep the draft from coming in the front....via tarps/boards. I'm creating a new setup that will alow me to keep my quail in the same shed as my chickens. Each coloration/size of Coturnix I will be breeding will be housed in INDIVIDUAL 2ft by 2ft cages. And inside so I will be able to have heat lights on them and hopefully keep them laying all year.
