Housing chickens and ducks together

i house mine together and it seems to be working well so far , i have four chickens and two runner ducks , i converted a 6 x 4 plastic shed .. so its completely washable... we made four nest boxes along the back with a large space underneath for the ducks to sleep on deep hay / straw.... we mad a roosting ladder for the chickens , all boxes are removable along with the roosimg ladder sp all can be totally washed etc . i also house two bales of straw inside too whick the chickens seem to love to peck at etc .... outside we made our own hopefully fox proof run which is attached to the shed , and has a roof , and mesh under ground, we have a raised area where we house the plasterers bath with a plug in to empty easy and refill with hose pipr for the ducks ... thsi works well as it is higher and this is the muddy area , which the chicken do use and scratch about in , but the lower area stays much dryer for them all , so all is good so far ... i have only had them all for 4 weeks , but it is workin well for us .

My neighbor has 5 hens and 4 ducks in the same coop & run with no real issues.
