Housing ducks and chickens together/pond in the run?

For those of you that house your ducks and chickens together..do you have a small pond or pool in the run for the ducks? We have a pretty huge run, so I know we could swing it..but is it just too messy for the chickens?

I haven't noticed a problem with mine. My chickens even go over and get a drink out of it occasionally.
