Reasonable is key...there was no way I was going to pay50 a year for 3 chickens lol other parts were fenced in and has to be 15 feet from neighbor properties.

I live in the Aves, it's a great neighborhood.Such a great city! We lived in the Aves and Sugar House while earning degrees at the U! I sincerely hope that we'll be able to have a mountain getaway in Utah someday!
Dogs and cats are by county fees although not sure u have licenses for cats dogs are 6-9 bucks depending on sex and whether they are “fixed”. The 50 bucks is city ordinance fees....it is absolutely rediculous. Glad we moved$50/year for three chickens?!Makes me wonder what they charge to license a dog or cat.
Yeah I agree! Issuing permits could be a condition later on in the negotiations, I wouldn't suggest offering it up front. I would suggest finding out how chicken keeping got legalized in other cities, I think there is a thread for that here. Good luck! I meant paying for permits. You know, maybe I just need to suggest to the city that they create a reasonable ordinance and monetize it and issue permits! They are always looking for a money grab!
