i recently purchased a older moder GQF 1588 forced air incubator. I've plugged it in for a week now the temps read a constant 98.5 using two types of thermometers didital and analog .would this hurt my chicken eggs any being at this temp ? Paid 70 bucks total eBay is good price considering what a new one cost .

You can adjust the temp on those pre set models. It needs to be 99-100F with 99.5 being ideal. I'd not incubate a degree low, it will result in late hatch and lowered hatch rate.

Look online for an owners manual. Or maybe someone will chime in on how to up the temp setting.
