I just recieved my new 1602 Hova bator with fan kit and turner. I love it!! Although i had to do some modifications already. Anyone else have to do this? I noticed the fan, looks like a chick can get hurt, no guard over the blades of fan so i zip tied a pc. of hardware cloth on it. I do know the hova is tall but i'd rather be safe than sorry. I also drilled two 1/4" holes in the top lid
[IMG] and ran moto[IMG] rcycle gas line(Brand new, never used,Lol) into trough #1 and #2. I drilled a 1/4" hole in a water bottle lid to accept the line and labeled them #1 & #2. Now i wont have to open the lid to add water, I just put some warm water in a bottle, screw it to the cap and add. The line goes right through the mesh in the bottom of incbator. It works great so far.

Nice Mods. Question?? So you squeeze the water bottles to fill the #1 and #2 trays? How does that work??
