Got three of the hova bator 1588 incubators and they have ran flawlessly for the last month up until today. Have eggs hatching in one of them so I've been checking it several times a day. I went to check it this last time and the digital temperature control dealy had a mind of its own. It was as if the down key was being held down to set the thermostat lower. First thing I thought of was the higher humidity (75%) was maybe causing a moisture build up on something in the digital controler it shouldn't have and malfunctioning the button. I took a hair dryer to the control box for a bit and it seemed to get it working properly again. Suppose I'm just lucky that i caught it quick.

My question is is this a design flaw or just a problem with my particular bator. If this is a common problem with the 1588 then maybe I should sell them all off and get a different model. If not I will just return this one and get an exchange. I figure someone else here would have experience with this particular model.
