I'm using the 2362n with a fan put them into the bator this morning any one else planning to hatch on the may 10th with me or put in this morning

This is my first time using an incubator.

I put eggs in 2 separate bators last night and today is day 1:

14 eggs in a Hovabator 1602 still air with turner at 9 pm last night

40 eggs in my friend's Top Hatch I30 at 6:30 pm last night

I have a really old Hovabator 1602N that I just loaded full of barnyard Mutts Saturday, Can I join in? 23 in total. I have never used a Hovabator before but its odd. It seems to heat within a 2 degree window. The red light will come on and the heater will start to cool down to the 99.5 then when the red light goes off (Or visa versa) it heats up to 102 then goes back down. Does this over and over and over again. Never goes higher or lower. So is this normal for a Hovabator or is it just because mine is super old?

I have a 1602N that is fairly old and the wing nut is stripped that is supposed to keep the t-stat from creeping but I just keep using it it seems like the temp has not moved as much the last 2 hatches and I am hatching in an uninsulated unheated shed right now but for the most part all winter I have hatched in a foyer that opens to the outside via an entrance door and the elictric heat I have been using in this hall way has kept an almost constant 70*

i've got my old one full right now, hatching may 1st.

That's true but the day you start them on will be due to hatch on that day3 weeks after because it takes a day to start them

Mine goes between 97-100 on the digital and stays around 98-100 on the more expensive GFQ one. I put bubble wrap around the bators since the temp in DR flucuates between 62-68.
