Hovabator question - Fan

Hello,

I was wondering if it is possible to add a computer fan to a still air Hovabator? If so, were is the ideal place to install it on the bator.

The Hovabator and the Little Giant incubators are very similar. The "factory fan" is installed in the top cover near the center. This is a good place to put the computer fan. I have installed one on a Little Giant.

It is necessary to use spacers both above and below the computer fan to facilitate "air-flow". I also made a "baffle" to keep the air from flowing directly upon the eggs.

The "baffle" was made from a coffee-can lid.

It is a fairly simple installation requiring only a few common tools.

IF you do a SEARCH for computer fan, I expect that you will find SEVERAL discussions on this subject here on BYC.
