Has anyone ever have the water run out of the water channels before the hatch is done & humidity drop out ?

My water runs dry about every 3 to 4 days. I find that if i let it go until the humidity drops low for a few hours I get my best weight loss pecentages. Around 12% at lockdown. I use a straw and syringe to fill back up.....

ve never experinced water leacking out of the bator, because overfilled

I guess it will depend on your location , here in south california weather is very stable

You are supposed to fill it back up every couple of days.

I had to fill mine up about once a week. Everytime I decided to candle my eggs, I went ahead and added water.

It's very dry here, I refill mine every 3 days. But I do refill with warm water. I try to guess as close to 99-ish as I can. My tap water gets HOT so I have to be careful not to let it be too hot or the bator temp will spike.

When I have to fill during lockdown I just move fast, I have my DD open the side of the lid just a little and slip my arm through, dump the water in and we drop the lid ASAP. So far, no casualties from it. Still averaging 95% hatch for those that make it to lockdown.
