I'd like to take an informal poll on how well we guess gender here. Please include the age and breed of your chicks when you posted pictures. Please don't say who guessed incorrectly. But if you've noticed that somebody is really good at this, they'd probably like to hear it.
Speaking for myself:
Last year I posted pictures of my girls at 8 weeks. A RIR, BO, BR, and Australorp. Everybody guessed that they were all girls. And they were right!
This year everybody was in agreement on my 5 week olds (3 hens and a roo). I'll post an update when nature gives its final verdict.
