how accurate is comb size and color at 8-10 weeks?

Well someone crowed for the first time this morning. Too bad I am not sure who. I was going to let them out and someone crowed. So I opened my coop cam but of course when they crowed again it was lagging/glitching some so not sure who. That could have solved one of them 100%. I know one is a Cockerel. Pretty sure the EE is. And unsure on light Brahma...... Here are the best pics I could get this morning on my own. Itzy my cochin that I know is a roo kept coming up and looking so I had to take his picture too. Lol

ya I figured that for the EE but was really hoping it was like 1 that I read on here that had a bright red/bigger comb early and then turned out to be a hen.........

I am hoping the brahma is a pullet. She has always been bigger than the other chicks but also feathered first so think maybe older? not sure. She wasn't big enough to be much older but maybe one of the first hatched since I think some hatched 4/8 and some 4/9. I have another light brahma and while her feathers were still coming in this one was fully feathered. But then this past week I noticed her comb getting more pink and wattles starting to come in a bit and got worried.

Brahmas are a large breed so in comparison to your others, she's always going to be a bit bigger Doesn't indicate gender. As for the red comb on the EE, a pullet wouldn't get a red comb to that extent unless they were actively laying or very very close to

Thanks. And yes I know they are large but she was bigger than my other light Brahma too. I also have Cochins that are a large breed as well but not as big as my Brahma's (well the smaller one is close to the cochins size but even she is starting to pass them).

I figured on the red comb but somewhere in here there was a post form one that had a comb like mine does (the EE) and actually turned out to be a hen, the comb started around when mine did. I know in that thread it kept everyone guessing because feathers didn't indicate a roo but comb did. So was really hoping. I got sexed day old pullets, lost 1 and then these 2 roos which we may try to keep the cochin but not sure. so I may be down to 7 chicks out of my 10 so was really hoping......... I planned on getting a few more next year so guess I will just be getting even more than I planned. LOL

I agree with @Rhodebar Lover looks to be a pullet right now for the Brahma, there's a bit of growth at the top portion so I'd still keep an eye on it.
I understand the frustration with all the cockerels though, my first round of incubating this year was a 100% hatch. I only managed to hatch 2 pullets out of successive hatches and ended having to buy sexed pullets. I was super paranoid that I had more cockerels in that bunch too!

Agreed, the EE is a cockerel... Is that gray bird with the single comb the same age as your other chickens?

Funny thing is I had asked others how lucky they were with the feed store I ordered them from before they came in. Everyone that answered said they got them a few different years and got only pulleys.... When I checked a bit ago since I knew of 2 or 3 others that picked a bunch up the same week as me. Think 1 said they thought they got 1 too. The rest that answered said they still thought all pullets. So seems I was the unlucky one. Guess it just means I can order more next year since I was planning on 4 next year for a total of 14... As of now I think I can do 6 or7 next year....

The blue one that is a roo for sure? That is my blue Cochin. There are 4 pics of the light Brahma I am questioning. 1 of my blue Cochin Roo just because he seemed to want his pic taken. And 2 of the EE I keep hoping is a pullet but guessing isn't...

Oops just saw you said age. Yes he is the same age. He got his comb and wattles at just over 4 weeks.
