How am I supposed to comb, with no comb?

Hey, everybody. Getting ready to feed all those pumpkins to your birds on November 1st? I’ve seen some pumpkins that are so huge that 3 of my birds could hop inside and feed at the same time in them! Anyway, I digress. I’m writing about this beautiful little lady. She’s 3 1/2 months old, always has pink eyes and face, and she has no comb or wattles. All the other girls from her brood have all their pieces-parts, so you see why I might be wondering about her. Any thoughts?

Why would this lead to worries? There are quite a few breeds out there not showing comb nor wattles.

I guess I’m worried because none of her siblings, male or female, have the same thing. This is only my second brooding experience, so I count on you more experienced chicken lovers to let me know if I should be worried. I guess I need to study chicken oddities more. Thanks for your wisdom.

Crested birds, as she is, don't usually have big wattles or combs. Perfectly normal. Might not ever grow them, again, perfectly normal.
