How am I supposed to comb, with no comb?

Hey, everybody🎃. Getting ready to feed all those pumpkins to your birds on November 1st? I’ve seen some pumpkins that are so huge that 3 of my birds could hop inside and feed at the same time in them! Anyway, I digress. I’m writing about this beautiful little lady. She’s 3 1/2 months old, always has pink eyes and face, and she has no comb or wattles. All the other girls from her brood have all their pieces-parts, so you see why I might be wondering about her. Any thoughts?

Aw, thank you. I agree, but I may be harboring some prejudice about her beauty. I just don’t know if I should be worried about her. She is otherwise normal, in every way!

I guess I’m worried because none of her siblings, male or female, have the same thing. This is only my second brooding experience, so I count on you more experienced chicken lovers to let me know if I should be worried. I guess I need to study chicken oddities more🐣. Thanks for your wisdom.

Crested birds, as she is, don't usually have big wattles or combs. Perfectly normal. Might not ever grow them, again, perfectly normal. :)
