normal people in day to day chitchat

Some people like to chit chat, some people don't, others apparently like to chit chat excessively and inappropriately all over this site. Mindless chit chat should be confined to the SOCIAL section and PMs only. Normal people don't want to wade through a bunch of chit chat while trying to find the answer to a serious question.
