Any funny stories? Scary experiences? What have you been working on? Any new additions? What are their breeds/names??
Feel free to post pictures!!

My miss Dougie duck is still new to laying, but produced her first double yolked egg this morning! I've actually never seen a double yolker before, in any eggs I've seen in person. So it was interesting!
The girls are now out enjoying some LOVELY sunny weather and having a nice cool down in their pool!
Later I need to do some work in their new pen, level it off a bit and start to design where I'm putting things! I'm very much looking forward to it once it's done.

My flock is good! A little crazy and naughty sometimes because they like to escape into the neighbors yard, but they are good! My ducks found where the frogs laid their eggs and have eaten a lot of the tadpoles. :gig
I'm making sure mine dont find the baby goldfish I've just bred, they're indoors but I've seen em looking at them

I got *another* double yolk egg today! The second in Dougie's first week of laying- poor girl is having to lay such big eggs.
My mum tried her first duck egg today, I halved the double yolker, gave one to her and one to Dougie.
Both found it very yummy! Dougie basically inhales her scrambled eggs now 😂

Wow!!!! Dougie seems to be quite the layer so far!! My indian runner was molting and wasn't laying, and she finally started laying again and I'm so happy!! I got her and her mate off facebook market place, and when I got her she seemed super skinny and underweight. My guess is she wasn't on he correct food since they were the only two ducks and they lived with chickens. They had never swam in their life and were SO excited when I let them loose to go swim with our other ducks once integrated into the flock. Now, my little girl (her name is Cheese) has gained a ton of weight and has filled out nicely! I'm so happy she seems to be at a healthy weight now!

awww! It sounds like they're lucky to have you!! A duck named Cheese, I love it 😂
It seems a lot of people who keep chickens and add a couple ducks dont seem to really understand duck care. Diet and needs are really quite different. I can't imagine depriving my ducks of swimming! It's a must in my opinion
