How are your muscovy drakes nails?

I've noticed on my big boys some of the claws are a bit long? now normally i would never suggest trimming them but i worry whether they will catch/snag the extra long ones...

Thoughts? perhaps, i'll attempt a picture... they are such a joy to photograph

Yeah, that was fun... anyhow.. this is the long one i am speaking of(to the left).. now i noticed he has snapped some of others off... i could just be overly worried lol

I would clip them. I had a call hen earlier this week catch a longer toenail on something and tore most of it off.

Ok, thanks.. yeah, it worries me.. i mean they are curled long. Clearly, some he has snapped off but i don't want them ripped off and bleeding. A pair of dog nail clippers should work, i have a pair of large dog sizing.

Yes those should work. I actually just ended up using a pair designed for ferrets.
