How do you all clean the eggs you collect?

How long can you store them outside of the fridge? And how long can they sit in coop til you collect them and still be ok?

A step by step process would be very helpful, thanks :)

I collect my eggs daily. I wipe off any poop and put into cartons in a mini fridge I have just for my eggs. I never store eggs on the counter. I let all my friends and family know they need to wash off the eggs before they use them.

I keep the nest material clean which in turn keeps the eggs clean.

Eggs can keep at room temperature for over a month. The cooler the temp the longer eggs keep and vise versa. As long as your coop is not reaching incubation temps, 99 F, eggs will last a long time.

I don't wash eggs and only fridge them if we've more than we can eat in few weeks.
