I have 2 French Black Copper Marans, both are laying. One is 10 months old and lays average size eggs. The other is 2.5 years old and lays ginormous eggs! They all look like double yolkers but are singles. I bought a scale to weigh them and they all run 80 to 85 grams. Is this normal for the breed or are these eggs huge?
