How big of a flock can I fit

If you have raccoons then I highly suggest replacing the chicken wire with hardware cloth. Those suckers can tear that chicken wire open like it's nothing.
Agreed! 19 gauge minimum half inch by half inch hardware cloth and make your strips of hardware cloth long enough that you can extend it out at least 1 foot on either side of the run as an apron/skirting.😊
Edited to add I didn’t see the cement blocks you have as a foundation so skirting may not be needed but you have to ensure they cannot dig under or pull under the bottom of the hardware cloth.

Thanks for the replies… I currently have 9 chickens living out here and have had no issues. Will probably stay at 9….
I built this run from a kit that I purchased and it was to keep my chickens safe. Before this current chicken run I had raccoons get in and kill off my first attempt at raising chickens. It has been a few months since building this and no more predator issues. I live in Oregon and the only predators I have around here in my current neighborhood is Raccoons, neighborhood cats, and maybe birds of prey.
Hey! I’m in Oregon too! We also have raccoons, owls, bats, possums, and cats. We’ve only ever had a hawk attack in my 2 years of keeping chickens! I like your run and coop!

Thanks, I appreciate that.
Cleaned out their coop today….
in order to expand my flock so that I can have a few more chickens I am setting up another area of my yard with and just purchased a Large Eglu Cube Chicken coop.

Ooh! Nice! I have an Omlet run and it is awesome!
Thanks for letting me know that it is worth it. I am hoping that for the price it is worth it and lasts… I just ordered it yesterday and I think it may take up to 6 weeks to arrive. I cleared out an area already to set it up next to the chicken area I already have and plan to keep 5 larger breed chickens in it.
I am also going to spruce up the chicken run pictured above and take the advice given on this thread by switching out the chicken wire for hardware cloth.
My flock will be at 14 chickens and I am satisfied with handling that amount.
Never thought I liked chickens but since I started this hobby several months ago I have grown to love it. I do it for the eggs and the enjoyment of watching these beautiful birds. Definitely helps me relax… I combine this hobby with my love for gardening / landscaping, and running long distance.

It’s definitely worth it! it looks great, it’s very sturdy, fairly easy to put together, and is pretty predator proof with the skirts. I got my 5 chicks back in 2019 and never would I have thought I would have this many chickens! 🤣 I love my girls! I probably spend more money every week on them than I do on myself! 😅 I truly believe taking care of animals is a passion not everyone grows a love for it! I love coming out in the morning to feed them, and give them water and treats. Collect the eggs because I know who layed each egg. They are my emotional support animals after what happened to my dad last year. They bring me lots of joy! 💛🐔

Thank you so much for sharing your pictures of your mixed flock and setup. You have some beautiful and healthy looking birds. I am impressed with your set up for them and your love for your girls really shows.
Sorry about whatever it was that transpired with your father. I think to some extent that my chickens serve the same role in my life as yours do. Great to meet someone as enthused as I am.
I will add more pictures as things continue to evolve. My birds are still young but I started getting eggs from one of them about 2 weeks ago. Not sure which of them it is but it was a great feeling when I got my first egg.
