so for the past year we have been free ranging. Well...lately we have lost a lot of chickens. some to a hawk, but mostly to a coyote. We thought it was a fox...but we saw the **** thing in the middle of the day in our FRONT YARD with a chicken in its mouth!!!
So how big of a run do we need? We have 14 chickens (5 are banties) and we have 2 goslings (but we could do a seperate pen for the goslings if that is better). We would still like to free range when we are home b/c most of the disappearing chickens happen when we are gone....
