How big should the door to the run be?

In the process of building a coup and trying to figure out how big to make the slider door for access to the run? I have a blue andalusain that is pretty tall

I am guessing 12 wide and 16 high?

I'm curious about this too... I plan to close mine in the coop at night but I'm not building a gate into the run from outside... Too much extra work! In your experiences should I cut a door that I can fit through from the coop to the run so I can round them up at night or do they tend to come inside for you? It may depend on the flock I guess, but I figure I'll ask

IMO I would build a door from the run to the outside. I think you'll regret if you don't...

Make the door big enough so if you lock yourself in the coop you can get out. Wish I had...
