Probably an old commercial poultry operation. The old ones would be really small by todays standards, but bigger that a normal house still.

It's about an hour from here and i'm going to say most likely a building left over from when they split a farm and parcled it off. Quite a few times they just clean out the old out buildings and call it a garage or shed.
