How big/tall do Silkies and Bantam Cochins get? Hubby and I are trying to figure out how big to make the Bantam coop, but have no clue how big they will actually get since all of our current hens are LF birds.

I can't say that I've measured my Silkies' height, but I imagine that they can't be taller than a foot high Unless my little roo is crowing, in which case I'd say that he adds a few inches with his neck stretched up and out

Thanks! I was thinking they would be around that height, so now just need to figure out how big to make their tractor!

My bantam cochins are about half the size of my LF birds, and my silkie hen is just a bit bigger than the bantam cochins. I love love love them!
