Okay I know the rule is 2-4sq ft per bird in coop and 5-10sq ft per bird in run. I had ducks for 7 years and they didn't seem to mind at all what size coop they had, probly because they'd spent their whole day rain or shine outside in the run.
Now chickens are a whole other bird, they dont like rain, and rain is something we get get quite a bit of, as is cold. So is bigger better or should I go with smaller to keep the warmth during winter? I've only got 2 birds.
