How can i be certain my hen is broody and will stay broody?

How can I be certain my hen is broody, will stay broody and will raise the chicks? She has never hatched any chicks before, never gone broody before and is only about seven months old. she is a Japanese/sultan bantam mix. Look at my page and you will see a picture of her on a rainy day.

You can't be sure. All you can do is give her something to sit on and hope for the best! Rocks or fertile eggs, depending on how patient you are.
