How can I find local breeders without putting an add in the paper???

Besides BYC, you could check your local 4H or the fairs this fall.

First decide on the breed(s) you would like to have, then contact the breed club or post your request at BYC. To see a list of the breed clubs, click here.
Also, look out for poultry shows in your area.

If you have a local feed store you can ask them. Our feed store is always sending people out to us.

i use the feedstore and i alwayyyyys drop in at the fair every year round this time to find out whos raising what
