how can I find my posted pictures ? like from couple years ago?

When they changed to the new system, if photos weren't in albums, they didn't transfer over and were lost. Those earlier pictures were probably just uploaded but not moved into an album.

That, I can't tell you, I don't really put photos on here... so I'm not familiar with the process.

You can also search out your old threads and posts, the old pics are still there just not accessible from your gallery/media.
