How can I help my duck lose weight when she has a bad leg?

We need more info to help
What type of duck
How old is she
What are you feeding her including treats
What’s happening with her leg ?
How much room does she have for exercise
Does she swim ?
She is a pekin duck and she is approximately a year old this year. I feed her Manna Pro duck feed, it’s a very well liked and somewhat expensive duck feed. She also likes it and it seems to be good for her, so I’m assuming that isn’t an issue. She sometimes has tomatoes and eggs mixed together, corn, chicken broth, chicken meat, and some foods we eat that is healthy or edible for her if she really wants it. She occasionally eats crackers.

We don’t know what happened to her leg. She’s had trouble walking since a very young age, around a month when she came home. We assume it’s because she tripped and somehow hurt her leg. We don’t know why it hasn’t completely healed, but it has gotten better lately.

She has health a bed most of the time. We bring her onto the couch when she wants to sit there. We bring her to the floor of the living room to let her move around, play, watch TV, and just kind of sit there if she wants to.

She doesn’t swim often.

With pekin ducks they need extra niacin so my guess is her leg issue is lack of
I give my ducks nutritional yeast
When ducklings 1tbs to 1 cup of feed
After 10-12 weeks of age I add a bit on top of the bowl a few times a week
In the winter I have been doing it daily
I would start adding it to her feed I would also treat her with durvet vitamin B complex for a few weeks on top of nutritional yeast
This may help if her leg is getting worse but won’t correct any previous issues
I give 1ml of this over a treat ( a few meal worms or a few peas ) or can be directly through syringe if you are comfortable to do so
I would also do as miss Lydia suggested and cut out all treats for now

I want to add swim exercise is really important and will Also help her leg
It takes the weight off but alllw her to move it around
If you have a tub I would bath her at least once a day
Not freezing cold water but not warm
Just cool
This will Siri help her preen and keep clean
My ducks spend a ton of time in their ponds and kid pools

Cut out all treats but her duck food. I know it's hard not to want to give out treats but they should only be 10% of her daily feed. And stop giving her carbs. Like crackers and corn.
Chopped up Romaine lettuce is a good treat, dried mealworms are good protein.
Okay, thank you for the advice!
I’ll keep them in mind. Much appreciated.

I’m not very knowledgeable regarding some foods, so I hope you don’t mind, but can I know what yeast is? Is it good for ducks?
