I got 6 lovely eggs today from my quail and put them in the incubator at a controlled 45/50% humidity and a temperature of 37.4/37.6 degress celcuis.. My friend told me that i should put a little hydrogen peroxide about 1 ml in each channels to increase hatch rate.. Along with that i was checking ways to increase hatch rates the internet told me the eggs must be less than 7 days old so i put 6 days old fertilized eggs.. are there any other ways i can increase hatch rates?

@Kiki will recommend that you use a lower humidity setting during the incubation stage. She will want to know if you have checked your temperature with a calibrated thermometer. She will also want to know if you are using a calibrated (salt tested) hygrometer to measure your humidity. @Kiki recently had a 100% hatch rate on quail eggs.

It might be better to set eggs fresher than 6 days old.
The fresher the better.
Next time.

I would not add anything to the water in my incubator.
