So about a month ago we adopted some chickens from not the greatest conditions. After a bit of adjustment time they seemed to be doing great, except one, named Henrietta. We ended up taking her to the vet who confirmed scaley leg mites and eye infection and parasites. Poor thing. She is currently on an eye cream for her eye and Ivermectin for the parasites. The thing is all our chickens share the same nesting area. Since her eggs are inedible due to the Ivermectin we have been tossing them all out since we are unable to tell the difference between who is laying what. This has equaled many eggs. We have only 3 chickens, but at 1-3 eggs a day it is getting frustrating. The vet said not much research has been done on the ivermectin and that we need to refrain from eating her eggs for 30 days to ... forever. How can I identify Henrietta's eggs so we can toss only those out and be able to use our other lady's eggs? Any ideas are awesome. Thanks.
I thought about putting this in egg laying category, except we aren't having a problem with egg laying.
