there are 2 wild pairs of canadian geese living around the family pond. today while i was checking on my hens and chicks a found a the female goose i presume eating the bedding andd the male goose standing gaurd.i kept having to chase them away so my chickens could relax a bit but they keep coming back in.... we try to keep the two hens free range but since we put the amaracaunas and the production red chicks in the hens have been staying close. the geese are nesting by the pond and i dont want them to go away for good but to stay out of the coop and barn. what do i do?

The only way you can keep them out is to fence them out.

They have discovered a source of food and they will make use of it.

They can be quite aggressive during breeding season and I suggest that you keep them separated from your chickens, for the safety of your chickens.
