How can I make 4-5 week old ducklings more friendly?

So I just got 2 ducklings saturday and I can tell they were never really handled and so they waddle away when i walk near them and freak out every time they get picked up. Anyway to get them more friendly? I've been picking them up every now and then or just petting them, is that about all I can do?

As noted previously on various threads, bribery with delicious treats is the way to go. Also, I found that talking to them without actually picking them up helped. The most recommended treat seems to peas. Anything the ducks like will work.

Put them in a pin where you can sit on the ground with them , put food and water near you , let them roam around the cage talk sweetly and just bond with them but be quiet . ( this is the best advise I have )

Alright thank you both. The first few times today that I went in I just talked to them and most recent time I went in I picked them both up and held them for a few minutes and when i put them down I waited for them to stop trying to run away before calmly letting go. I also have some peas in the fridge defrosting to try later.
