How can I make a hen go broody

Hi I have 5 hens that are rhold island red and u want them to go broody I have no roosters but have fertilized eggs that I bought how can I make one go broody.

The short answer is, you can't. If you want to hatch those 3ggs you'll need an incubator

You can't make any hen go broody. You can encourage broodiness by leaving eggs in the nest, but that's not going to work with Production Rhode Island Reds. They go broody extremely rarely.

If you want broody birds, get a silkie or a bantam cochin. For now, if you want those eggs hatched, use an incubator.

You also should not put a Silkie or Bantam breed in with production RIR , RIR are aggressive Birds.
