How can I make coop cleaning easier?

I have a 2-3 inch layer of pine shavings under my roost. I do clean under the roost every morning with a paddle & scoop. It takes about 5 minutes. I just dump the dirty shavings in the run. DH stuck his head In & couldn’t believe there was no smell & almost no poo inside. I think health wise it is good to check poo every day to watch for abnormalities. We are expecting a day below zero next week. I may skip cleaning that day.
