How can I tell if my hen is eggbound?

I read thast beats scraps were ok, I cooked them first. Maybe that did. Who knows. They have clean water every morning and I posted a pic a little bit ago of the feed I use. Maybe too high protein content? Suggestions on different ratios?

Enjoy.... lol.

@casportpony didn't a vet say foamy could be indicative of a protozoa not infection?

I do know when mine get worm overload, that is exactly the poops I see... I use a broad spectrum dewormer like Safeguard or Valbazen, as we have gapeworm and those are the ones that will work for them...

Veggie scraps are fine, the only reason to not give any scraps and just feed and clean plain water for a few days is to see if their poop is normal or if it continues to be watery/diarrhea...

But foamy poop is absolutely abnormal...

If the birds are acting fine, don't jump on the medication band wagon. If you medicate everytime you see an odd looking poop, you're going to be medicating your birds a lot. Even the occasional bloody poop is not a reason to medicate, as birds sometimes shed a bit of intestinal lining. Watch your birds. They will TELL you if they are sick. Hot days = squirty poops.

I thought you were worried about the one that stays in the coop?
I am, she hasn't laid in a week and usually stays perched. She will come out to the run to dust bath exercise. I got her to eat from my hand earlier today. I will pull her first and see if she is having the diarrhea. Hopefully I can figure out who it is quickly though.
